80min surf, snowboard, music film by relentless for free, that´s great!

Looks like the Coca Cola company is trying to steal Red Bull the show. Never heard of Relentless so far but they are doing amazing films and documentaries about surfing, skating, snowboarding and music.

So many filmcrews on this kicker...it´s unbelievable. I wonder if they all will use their footage because it´s a little bit overshooted in my opinion. Isen 7, Pirates, Aestivation and other filmcrews were there to get their shots done. I was there three times and the last session with Matevz Pristavec and three french guys was by far the best! Photo below was made out of a screenshot - so perhaps you will see this shot in action somewhere next season.

and still loads of snow in the Alps. Its the best winter I had in years, and after working a lot for an austrian park company I am filming right now for a top secret austrian movie production. And like I said - still loads of snow!!! Below you see a screenshot of what I filmed yesterday.

I just had a look to the swiss SLF website which gives you informations about snowconditions and avalanche risks for switzerland. I was quite happy to see that they redesigned their website during this summer. They did a pretty good job what made it even more fun to see that there´s coming about one meter of fresh snow around the alps for the next few days. So get out your jackets and thick socks! Winter is coming...juchui!

Last week I was filming for the Red Bull Gap Session 2008. It was quite a good experience but I think the event was not as good as 2006. The good thing about it are the side events that take place the whole week through, so it feels more about having a good time than doing a contest, i think that retrieved the session. Really nice snowboard competition that combines powder, backcountry kickers and slopestyle. Quicksilver Natural Selection "which was actually the brainchild of Jackson Hole local Travis Rice" just ended a few days ago. Check the clips and pictures here.
